Works As Advertised!!
I had a bunch of 'weeds' in my back yard that grew to small tree size over time. My hand saw and my muscles were not up to the task and I needed some power to assist me. My local hardware store tried to sell me a small chain saw but that scared me off and after some research, I chose this tool.

Thanks to Amazon Prime, it arrived in 2 days and I went to work. I cut down thick and thin branches and even some small tree trunks. After 90 minutes, I filled three large contractor bags with branches of all sizes and removed the offending trees to the delight of my wife.

You need a little force to control the saw's vibrations at times but it works great.

Some people commented about fitting the blade but I found it very easy, though the instructions could be a little clearer.

This device is GREAT and I highly recommend it.

For small jobs
This was okay for a small job. The blade dulled very quickly. Having a difficult time finding a replacement blade.

100s of uses
I'm 73 and needed a lightweight saw, and this one works perfectly. When a chain saw is overkill, this one is perfect for cutting small limbs. Also great for cutting 2x4s etc. I have recommended this saw to everyone.

Used once
Not reliable. I used it once to prune small branches from trees and it did okay. I packed it away and two months later the blade would not click back in to the saw. It's useless.

Typcial Homeowner -
I am a typical homeowner that would like to do a few small projects and does not want to own alot of tools. This tool appeared to be a perfect one for me. Based on my research, I truly felt prior to buying this that I would be able to do a greater number of small projects around the house and do them quickly. The tool is a good weight and the blades are extra large. Nice.

But... I spent two hours and could not get the blades to attach to the saw. I even took the saw to the Home Depot tool department and they as well could not attach the blades. My rating of one star is because I was not able to use the product due to the blade design.
